It’s only 5.3 miles away, but a world apart from our quaint home here on Main Street in Historic Franklin. Since its founding in 2004 Propeller has been part of this growing downtown community, but the time has come for us to move into a space that is a better fit for our current culture and business needs. Our new address at Meridian Cool Springs (off Carothers Parkway) provides Propeller with better access to I-65, on site hotel accommodations for our guests, excellent restaurants within walking distance and plenty of available parking! And while we’ll miss the charming surroundings of the downtown district we’ve called home, we think we’ll like being in a more professional atmosphere that’s closer to some of our friends and clients (not to mention the airport). Propeller is proud to announce it’s recent partnership with PureFlix Entertainment for the release of three feature films releasing on DVD November 17 through EMI CMG Distribution. Propeller is currently leading the charge on marketing, retail promotion, publicity and strategic partnerships for all three films which include “Sarah’s Choice,” starring Rebecca St. James, “In the Blink of an Eye,” starring David A.R. White, and “Birdie and Bogie,” starring Mike Norris.

In “Sarah’s Choice” lead character Sarah Collins (Rebecca St. James) is a young woman on the elevator of success. As a junior account executive at a major advertising agency, Sarah is poised to get it all: executive promotion, salary increase, new car, fabulous apartment and first-class travel. There’s only one thing that is standing in her way, an unexpected pregnancy.

“In the Blink of an Eye” is a stunning and prophetic action film that chronicles the last week leading up to the beginning of the end.

For the lead character, detective David Ramsey (David A.R. White), what was supposed to be the perfect vacation comes to a horrific crossroad aboard a private yacht on the shimmering Sea of Cortez, as his wife and friends suddenly disappear. In déjà vu film fashion, Det. Ramsey (White) begins to experience a replay of the previous day’s events that lead up to this cataclysmic episode. Each time the day begins, he digs deeper into the mystery that surrounds this worldwide Nostradomic event that has been revealed in ancient Biblical prophecies.

“Birdie and Bogie” stars Mike Norris (son of Chuck Norris, who is a producer on the film) as Danny O’Conner, an ambitious golfer with his sights set on the most competetive stage in golf. When Danny brings on 12-year old daughter Birdie as his caddy, the golfing world takes notice as he begins win with the help of her coaching, and his shot at the PGA tour is suddenly within reach. But when Birdie’s life is threatened with a deadly disease, Danny must find a way to carry on alone to fulfill his daughters dying wish, which is to know in his heart what Birdie knows in hers: She loves him, believes in him and knows that it’s his time to prove he is the best.

Historic Franklin Property Owner Leads Path to Sustainability . Franklin, TN (July 27, 2009) – Propeller, the premier marketing and branding agency in the faith and family market, is going green with a brand new solar power system.

Lightwave Solar Electric recently installed a 15 kilowatt photovoltaic system with 64 panels on the roof of the historic building where Propeller is headquartered in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Community leaders, building tenants, and those who worked on the project recently gathered for a “Making the Switch” ceremony celebrating the transition with Franklin Mayor John Schroer and building owner Karen Cochran.

“Propeller is thrilled to play a small part in something that will make a significant impact on our historic community. Franklin has been so good to us, and in addition to environmental benefit, we also take great pride in investing in the future of our city through this initiative,” said Propeller president, Dan Merrell.

The solar panels installed produce approximately 14.7 kW peak power per day, generating 17,500 kW per year. Lightwave Solar Electric says they will offset energy costs, at current rates, by at least $3,850 annually. The solar panels carry a 25 year limited warranty.

“I conducted an extensive energy audit by Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation and Tennessee Valley Authority on the building and was staggered to learn how much CO2 the historic building created. I decided it was time to embark on a plan,” said Cochran.

Now, with the panels installed and functioning, Cochran believes this will not only benefit the tenants of her building, but hopefully impact other business owners in the Franklin area.

“The City of Franklin’s commitment to be among the top 25 sustainable communities in the nation will keep the city viable and a place people want to visit and live. Even when an economic downturn is affecting business on every level, having that measurable edge makes good business sense,” said Cochran.

The community can take part in the project by viewing the energy efficiency inside the local Starbucks, also in the building. The SunPower online monitoring system is available for customers to view during business hours.
